The NSE 3 in Cybersecurity certification validates your ability to run high-level operations on a FortiGate device. This curriculum covers the fundamentals of operating the most common FortiGate features.

Target Audience

We recommend this certification for cybersecurity professionals who need to perform high-level configuration and monitoring tasks on FortiGate devices. We also recommend this certification for network security administrators at small and medium-sized companies.

Program Requirements

To achieve this certification, you must pass the NSE 3 – FortiGate Operator online exam presented at the end of the course. The awarded certification will be active for 2 years from the date the course is completed.

You will receive digital badges in the following circumstances:

• Exam badge: You receive an exam badge each time you pass any version of an exam.
• Certification badge: You receive a certification badge once you achieve the requirements for the NSE 3 in Cybersecurity certification.

Recertification

To renew your NSE 3 in Cybersecurity certification, complete one of the following:

• If your NSE 3 certification has expired, you must complete the FortiGate Operator course and pass the NSE 3 online exam.
• If your NSE 3 certification is still active, you can extend the expiration date by two years from the date you complete one of the following requirements:
  • Complete the NSE 3 course and pass the online NSE 3 exam
  • Achieve or renew any NSE 3 to 7 certifications.
  • Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.

Achieving or renewing the NSE 3 certification automatically renews active NSE 1 and NSE 2 certifications.
